On 31 May 2011, it was announced to the world that:
“The World Health Organisation/International Agency For Research On Cancer (IARC) has classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B), based on an increased risk for glioma, a malignant type of brain cancer, associated with wireless phone use.”
(WHO/IARC press release:
Microwaves do not contain sufficient energy to chemically change substances by ionization, and are appropriately classed as non-ionising radiation. However, contrary to early thinking, it has become apparent that there is indeed a biological reaction to RF and microwave radiation.
“……some, but not all, (microwave) studies suggest that long-term exposure may have a carcinogenic effect.”
